ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

 
Our shipping operations are conducted to respect and minimize impact on the environment as guided by maritime regulations and other requirements. We are especially committed to the protection of the marine environment and we shall strive to eliminate waste while reducing consumption of materials and emission of pollutants to air and water.

We shall take steps to identify opportunities to continually improve our environmental performance as guided by our Environmental Management System (EMS). Our EMS shall remain applicable to the technical management aspects of our shipping operations and incorporate established safety management system procedures and requirements as the basis for controlling our compliance with existing regulations and other requirements.

We shall review aspects of our activities that impact the environment on a regular basis and establish objectives and targets for implementing appropriate improvements.

Our shipping operations will benefit from our increased commitment to protect the marine environment.
